04 Aug GRIT Gets Greater
It’s a new year, and a new face for GRIT. Well, a new financial year and a not so new face, really. From July 1st, Andrew Boal has joined GRIT as a new partner and Director of Digital and Video. It’s a return of sorts, as Andrew worked many moons ago with both Mark and Taso at Visual Purple, then NeoPurple before embarking on a journey that included a stint at DDB Melbourne as Associate Creative Director, Digitas New York as a Creative Director and The Farm Sydney as Creative Director. All of this led Andrew to create his own agency, Punky, as a dedicated Digital and Branded Content shop in Sydney, before the pining for balmy Melbourne winters was too much and Punky relocated back to Melbourne, becoming one with GRIT.
To celebrate in true agency style, GRIT engaged the services of talented photographer and friend, Bernie Phelan at Phelan Media to shoot a series of photos set in the amazing surrounds of our home, the Prahran Markets. No mean feat with talent that is more used to being on the other side of a camera (we’re sure they were channeling their inner Prince Phillip through the entire session). But with talent, professionalism and a few tricks that we think were learned from photographing children, we managed to get a fantastic series of photos.
